Week 2 - Thursday Night Football

Bears (1-0) at Packers (0-1)

On Sunday the Bears looked great. Cutler has shown once again that he's much better than a lot of people are giving him credit for, and after being reunited with Brandon Marshall he's just going to keep getting better. I'm telling you now jump on the Cutler Bandwagon, he's just going to keep on getting better this year. Along with Cutler and Marshall you've got old reliable in Matt Forte. The offense this year can explode on any play whether it is on the ground or through the air. They might have played a soft defense last week in the Colts but they still put up a very respectable 41 points. The Bears bread and butter for years has been their defense and it might not be as dominant this year as they have been throughout history, they are still going to do more than just hold their own. I like the Bears a lot this year, and I'm quickly becoming more and more of a Cutler fan.

The Packers had a rough start to their season. They played probably the best team in the NFL right now and Rogers didn't quite look like himself out there. The defense was the biggest question mark though. They let up the soft touchdown to an uncontested Randy Moss in the back of the endzone and everyone in their secondary just looked at eachother without knowing what happened or who blew what coverage. The Packers defense was the worst in the league last year and I was hoping they were going to step it up this season because Clay Matthews is one of the most entertaining defensive players to watch. The Cheeseheads need the defense to at least be good this year if they want a chance at making it even into the playoffs. The offense is great, arguably the best in the league, but they need their defense to step it up.

In Cutlers career he has thrown eleven interceptions to the Packers. If he continues to do this on Thursday night then the Packers will win. If the Packers can start getting some big defensive takeaways then their team is going to win. However, tonight I think Cutler turns his historical woes around. Jay Cutler is going to be great this year, and this game is going to show the NFC North and the NFL as a whole how good the Bears are going to be this year.

Bears 34 - Packers 27
